Multi-camera video production is a main focus of HAMBURG - VIDEOPRODUKTION . We use cameras of the same type. The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Of course, we rely on the multi-camera method insofar as it is an interview and conversation situation with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing.
